About CrankyMTB

CrankyMTB is an independent, Brisbane-based mountain bike store created for riders who want the right product—not just more products to choose from.

We deliberately keep our range focused. Rather than filling the website with hundreds of near-identical options, we select products that we trust, that have proven themselves on the trail, and that solve a genuine problem for mountain bike and e-mountain bike riders.

Our range includes carefully chosen components, tyres, saddles, grips, handlebars and other fit-specific products from brands we believe in. We have a particular interest in bike fit, comfort and control—because small changes to contact points and riding position can make a big difference.

Whether you are dealing with hand numbness, wrist discomfort, saddle pressure, an awkward riding position or a bike that simply does not feel right, we aim to help you find a practical solution. Many of the products we stock are available in different widths, rises, sweeps, shapes and sizes so they can be matched more closely to the rider.
