The SQlab 711 Tech & Trail 2.0 grips are purpose-built for demanding trail, XC, and marathon riders who want to reduce fatigue, improve comfort, and maintain precise control over long distances. At the heart of the 711 2.0 is a carefully engineered pressure distribution concept. The outer contact surface is flattened and slightly widened to spread pressure evenly across the hand, significantly reducing peak pressure on the ulnar nerve. This helps prevent numbness, tingling, and arm pump—common issues on long or rough rides.

The grip also features SQlab’s Ergobar, a wave-shaped underside that mirrors the natural contour of curled fingers. This provides a secure hold with less grip force, reducing forearm fatigue and allowing for more relaxed riding—especially important on technical terrain or extended climbs.

The 2.0 update introduces a refined shape and improved material composition for even better damping and comfort. The shock-absorbing TPE compound filters out trail vibrations and impacts, reducing stress on wrists and hands while maintaining a responsive feel at the bars.

A key design feature is the inner clamp system, which relocates the clamp to the inside of the grip. This increases the usable cushioning area on the outside of the hand—where pressure is highest—resulting in improved comfort compared to traditional dual-clamp grips.
